Hey guys I'm back. In the past couple of months I've. lost my job, and my computer has broken down so it hasn't put me in the best mood. I'm hoping this year will bring me new beginning and some good luck.  Any way I've recently discovered Veronica Mars fanfic and I did not know what I was missing. I've only started watching the third season of VM and quickly fell in love. I then went on to watch the first and second season and am officially hooked. Congratulations to me I have a new fan-dom and a new ship. I am aboard the LoVe boat as it is so elegantly stated on www.televisionwithoutpity.com. What can I say I love me some Logan. Anyway back to the point  herowlness has an extensive recs in her memories and also writes some fantastic stories as well. I've added quite a few in my memories.

However my favorite Veronica Mars author so far has to be the incomparable sexycereal   I don't even have to comment on the awesomeness of sexycereal because alocalband already has but I want to.  Oh I stayed up all night going through her stories. She is predominately Veronica/Logan and has it all.  She has snark, angst, smut, and so much more.  As always I'll give a few of my favorites but I have to say that there isn't anything that doesn't deserve a look.  She has written almost 100 of unbelievable quality.  Anyway check it out and don't forget to leave comments  and maybe come back here and tell me what you thought.

Gosh, How I Want You to Know Me is a Lily centric fic.  It's fairly short and kind of abstract.  I'm nbot sure what to write about this fic.  It  just left an impression on me.
In Regard to Something considered Inviolable features Veronica and Logan having sex but don't dismiss this as smut.  There's so much more going on beneath the surface including the unforgettable Lily Kane.  It shows that despite the fact that these two don't make much sense they need one another.
King of the Castle is a little different from the two previous stories. It occurs right after the season 1 finale.  It just fills in a few blanks between the finale and premiere.  Its Veronica and Logan the way I love them best, snarky and hot.  You can feel the chemistry between the characters something that has been missing in recent episodes.

Okay guys, I'm actually suppose to be studing for my bio test today. It is 4:58 and I haven't slept all night.  I just wanted to do a quick rec.
Habit by Carebear Stare is a one shot deal. Its a B/A but there's no real interaction.  It simply talks about a series of events.  I don't really have the energy to give this the introduction that it deserves but this fic caught my attention during my search and I wanted to share it wit hall of you.

Okay everyone has a guilty pleasure and it's time to admit mine.  It's AU otherwise known as alternate universe fics but one must tread carefully.  Most AU's only use our character's faces and change their personalities to better suit the story.  The best AU's seem possible if only the characters had followed a different path.  Some of them tweak the universe a little while others are galaxies away from the original stories but these are usually the stories that you never forget.  
 
I don't think there has ever been a decent rec site without the inclusion of Yseult's Là et Ailleurs.  It diverges during the season 2 finale.  Only instead of Buffy sending Angel to hell she runs away and he finds her. I won't spoil the rest of the story for you but remember there is a reason that this story is a classic.  Read on you won't be dissappointed.

Then there is the work of </a>tango and indie.  These two lovely ladies have written some of the best Buffy/Angel AU stories ever. Now both of them have written incredible stories but I think they are at their best when they collaborate. Tango and Indie are the first really good fanfic that I've ever read. They've turned me onto my favorite authors via their links page.  Before this I was sorting through fanfiction.net trying to find decent stories.  Now my absolute favorites are:

The Smooth Criminal Triology-Actual only 2/3 of the story is finished but don't let that stop you. This incredible story begins during Buffy's high school career up to her mid-thirties.  Her world turns upside down when she meets Angel, the boy from the wrong side of the tracks.  I know, I know, been there, heard that, but never like this. Indie and Tango fanfic exceeds all expectations, so what are you waiting for?  
Making the Rent-I don't know what it is exactly that makes me love this fic so much.  I mean its good, really good but this fic has always had a special place in my heart.  Its hot, and romantic, and funny and just amazing.  Maybe because this fic is the one that convinced that Buffy and Angel could work. Maybe not in the Jossverse but somewhere Buffy and Angel can have a happy ending.
When the Sun Never Rises-There's no way I could not rec this fic.  It's turns the entire world on its head. Its a world where vampires rule the world.  In this world Angel is a powerful figure and Buffy is simply a human sacriface but despite the odds they manage to fall in love. 

The AU fic that I am currently obsessed about has to be Our Sons and Daughters by Baby Blues.  I've was turned onto the site through indie's website.  Now this story used to have its own webpage but unfortunately its not working today but you can read it here. .Now I don't want to give it away but this story has to do with Buffy, Angel, Spike and eight teenagers.  So if you want to see the pictures of theteenagers go to the first website but fanfiction.net actually has more chapters so you should probably visit both. Its hilarious, heartwarming, touching, and entertaining as hell.  Go, read, I'm sure you'll become obsessed to.

 White Flag by Baby Blues is a short one shot that really got under my skin.  There may or may not be a sequal or a prequal but this fic packs a punch on its own.

Just read this fic and had to rec it.  A Thousand Tiny Deaths by thenyxie.  Its melodic, and lovely, and heartbreaking.  Just read it. Ok

Okay to lift your spirtis take a look at this story The Mature Plan by  Maren.  Its funny and smutty and actually makes you believe that Buffy and Angel could work in thre real world and you know I'm a sucker for Bufy/Angel goodness.

Here are what i think is yahtzee's last two Angel and Buffy fanfiction.  Its not up on her website but it was mentioned in her yahoo group.  I've read them and loved them like most of yahtzee's things but I remember being so sad because I remember that her story Two Steps Back is the first fanfic to ever convince me realize that Angel really doesn't love Buffy anymore (which is amazing because I am a hardcore Bangel.) No other story has ever done that before or since.  
Also Cultural Shock reunites Willow and Oz but not in the way you think.  It stars Willow, Oz, and Faith and occurs after Choosen.  It manages to be funny, actionpacked, heartwarming and exteme painful all at once. It deals with how each of these characters have changed.  Willow isn't the naive innocent anymore, and Faith isn't just a badass Slayer.  Oz has changed as well.  This story puts all three characters in a crisis and have them work out their issues.

While I was at it I wanted to rec another one of my favorite authors Vatrixsta Cruden.  No one does angst like this author.  First there is her classic Bittersweet Legacy which is an AU done right.  What happens when a Slayer becomes a vampire?  You'll find out in this dark epic.  But angst isn't Vatrixsta Cruden's only speciality.  No one does fluff like Vatrixsta and the fact that she is perdominately B/A only makes me love her more. As always my favorites has to be Echo which is actually a Xander/Cordy story with a twist and Hard to Forget, a Buffy/Angel story which will make you tear up and laugh out loud.So pull up a chair and be ready to be tortured and tantilized.  There's nothing like reading Trixsta's stories for the first time.

I found this site a while ago.  The concept is you take a character, kill them and have them be able to write one letter from the grave. There are some really amazing works in here.  Some enlighting, others heartbreaking, and some genuinely creepy but they all make you think.  Here are my favorites.

I know I'm a total nerd but I LOVE LOVE LOVE DRABBLES.  Drabbles are 100 word stories  that usually gives insight into a character.  Because of the limit you have to make each word count.  It takes tremondous skill to write a good drabble and I found writers with plenty of it. So I wanted to share a few with you. Anyway here are a few of my favorites.

Leni is amazing.  I seriously don't know how she does it.  She writes all pairings, all characters, angst, comedy, and so much more.  Here are a few of my favorites but go to her site and read her amazing works of fiction.

yahtzee has to be one of the greatest fanfic writers out there. She writes both Angel and Buffy with all pairings. There are no words to describe how good she is but if you want an example take a look at Phoenix Burning. That story has to be the thing of legends.The worst thing I ever heard was that Yahtzee has  stop writing Whedonverse fanfic. Anyway take a look at her two sites Insect Reflection and Chivary is Dead. You'll never forget your first time.

There is also the awesome rheanna. She writes strictly Angel but she writes some of the best.  Here stories leave you speechless.Unfortunately her site is down but you can read her fiction here.   Enjoy her fiction.  You won't find any like it anywhere else.

I don't know how well known HonorH. I stumbled onto her at www.fanfiction.net. I first read her Elegy for a Fallen Heroine which I've already rec'd, but you've got to take a look at her other stuff. Graduation takes a more indept look to the Season 3 finale, filling in some of the blanks. To Live and Try in LA is a hilarious look at Cordelia's ajustment to life and how she came to be with Angel. One Lucky Guy shows Riley and Spike bonding (I know, who'd have thunk it.) and discussing the issue of love and hate. There are several more stories worth checking out. So have at it.

 Here is a post-The Gift story.  The series never really gave us a chance to see how everyone react to Buffy's death and here HonorH does an exceptional job.  The story begins when Willow comes to tell Angel the news  but it continues on.  Each reaction seems genuine and your heart breaks just a little while reading this.  Pay special attention to chapter 8. It's my favorite part.
